- Knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture patterns
- Flexible with shift hours (India/UK shift/US Shift)
- Comfortable or willing to learn to design solutions using any high-level language (preferred Python and Java)
- Comfortable or willing to learn CNCF Observability and logging tools (preferred Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Thanos, EFK)
- Exposure to Windows is a plus
- They are open to 24/5 rotation shifts, with the expectation of on-call coverage for weekends
- Will be expected to work in Sprints
- Applicants must have solid experience in developing, implementing, and carrying the DevOps strategy from scratch for large-scale infrastructure and applications.
- Strong Git experience and attention to detail with the ability to identify and work in multiple branching strategies with GitLab experience
- Ability to independently interpret existing CI, develop replacements, validate functionality, and partner with other development teams to review changes
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines and tooling
- Security focused mindset who can identify risks in existing CI and develop secure solutions
- Experience in performance management of database engines (Postgres, MySQL, Elasticsearch).
- Good understanding of security threats.
- Solid experience with software architectures
- Passionate about Infrastructure as Code, automation, and developing solutions that help developers move quickly and safely
- Familiarity with infrastructure management and operations lifecycle concepts and ecosystem
- You have prior experience working in high performance or distributed systems
- Strong experience on building highly scalable, secure, efficient, and resilient systems
- Analyse Requirements and proactively estimate and project the requirements for infrastructure, security and DevOps initiatives
- Mentor, guide, support and inspire the team of talented Cloud/DevOps engineers from both technical and human resource management points
- Familiarity with working on an Agile/Iterative development framework
- Detail-Oriented and passionate about DevOps, Automation, Data-Driven decisions
- Should have experience in rehosting, re-platform, and re-architect migration strategies
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Good performance monitoring and capacity management of large systems using various tools.
- Analysis of SLI metrics and performance data. Interpreting and correlating it to SLOs and SLAs.
- Experience with deployment automation, CI/CD, DevOps, Jenkins, GIT.
- Experience with container orchestration systems (Preferably Kubernetes).
- Expert practitioner in one or more technology domains, maybe a cross-domain expert able to solve complex and mission-critical problems within a business or across the firm.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure components like routers, load balancers, and networks.
- Comfortable working in Agile mode and proficient in continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Excellent communications skills, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Is endlessly curious about applications and application stability
- Experience with cloud/container environments, big data, analytical tools (Spark).
