Role Summary:

Megamax Group’s CFO will be the strategic financial leader responsible for capital strategy, governance, performance, and risk across a multi-industry portfolio. The role spans Group finance, FP&A, treasury, investor relations, audits & compliance, and commercial/business partnering with each vertical (IT, Solar, Aviation). The CFO will build scalable systems, policies, and metrics that enable profitable growth, cash discipline, and strong controls—while supporting bold expansion, including solar project finance and aviation route economics (UDAN/Regional).

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Capital Allocation:

  • Partner with CMD and BU Heads to shape long-term financial strategy and portfolio choices across IT, Solar, Aviation.
  • Lead capital raises (equity, debt, structured finance), optimize cost of capital, ensure liquidity resilience.
  • Drive investment cases for organic expansion, M&A/JVs, carve-outs; evaluate ROCE/IRR and risk-return tradeoffs.

FP&A, Performance & Decision Support:

  • Establish robust budgeting, rolling forecasts, and driver-based planning.
  • Define and own sector-specific KPIs and dashboards:
    • IT: ARR/MRR, gross margin by service line, utilization, backlog, churn, DSO, CAC:LTV.
    • Solar: Project IRR, DSCR, COD adherence, EPC margins, module price indices, PPA performance, DISCOM/C&I receivables.
    • Aviation: CASK/RASK, yield, load factor, OTP, fuel per ASK, lease/maintenance reserves, UDAN route profitability.
  • Present Board packs with insight-led actions; lead performance reviews and course corrections.

Financing, Treasury & Investor Relations:

  • Structure project finance for solar assets (non-recourse/limited recourse, securitization of PPAs, green/sustainability-linked instruments).
  • Negotiate aircraft leasing/financing (dry/wet, SLB, PDP financing, maintenance reserves); manage lessor relations.
  • Oversee working capital, banking, hedging (FX/fuel), and covenant compliance.
  • Lead Investor Relations with lenders, rating agencies, and prospective equity investors; craft the equity story.

Governance, Compliance & Risk:

  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Ind AS/IFRS, GST, Direct Tax, MCA filings, FEMA/RBI for cross-border transactions, CSR governance.
  • Aviation: align with DGCA/AAI/BCAS financial requirements; maintain safety-related provisioning and UDAN financial obligations.
  • Build internal control frameworks, risk registers, fraud prevention, whistleblower mechanisms; oversee statutory, internal & tax audits.

Commercial & Business Partnering:

  • IT: Deal economics, pricing discipline, revenue recognition (T&M, fixed price, SaaS), cost-to-serve optimization, MSAs/SOWs.
  • Solar: Bid finance, EPC risk management, PPA negotiation, supply chain hedging (modules/inverters), warranty/claims oversight.
  • Aviation: Route/fleet economics, fuel and maintenance cost planning, airport/ground costs, ancillaries; support network planning.
  • Standardize deal review, delegation of authority, and contract governance.

Systems, Data & Process Excellence:

  • Implement/upgrade ERP (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics), shared services, close-to-report automation, BI analytics.
  • Harmonize chart of accounts, master data, and policies across entities; strengthen P2P, O2C, R2R cycles.
  • Elevate reporting quality, reduce month-end close times, and drive automation.

Leadership & Culture:

  • Build a high-performing finance organization (Corporate, BU Finance, Treasury, Tax, Audit, Shared Services).
  • Foster ethical, performance-led, people-first culture aligned with Megamax values.
  • Contribute to Board Audit/Risk/CSR committees; act as trusted advisor to CMD.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • CA (India) mandatory; MBA/CPA/CFA is an advantage.
  • 15–20+ years overall experience; 7–10+ years in CFO/Group Finance leadership roles.

Domain Experience:

  • Exposure across two or more of: IT services/SaaS, Renewables/Solar (EPC/IPP/project finance), Aviation (airline/MRO/leasing).
  • Strong track record in fundraising, treasury, project finance, lease financing, and investor relations.
  • Comfort with multi-entity structures, cross-border flows, and risk/compliance leadership.

Behavioural Competencies:

  • Strategic, analytical, and commercially astute; controls-first with pragmatic execution.
  • Executive presence; crisp communication with Board/CMD and external stakeholders.
  • Talent builder; hands-on when needed; thrives in entrepreneurial, fast-paced settings.

KPIs & Success Metrics:

  • Consolidated revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, and ROCE improvement.
  • Cash conversion (DSO/DPO/DIO), free cash flow, cost of capital reduction.
  • Solar project IRR/DSCR adherence; aviation route profitability & CASK/RASK; IT ARR growth & churn reduction.
  • Clean audit outcomes, timely compliance; zero material weaknesses.
  • ERP/BI adoption; shortened close cycle; automation and process maturity.
  • Team engagement, leadership depth, and succession readiness.

Travel & Mobility:

  • Regular domestic travel to sites, airports, client locations, lenders, and BU offices.
  • Occasional international travel (OEMs/lessors, investors, procurement).

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated SAP Freshers who are eager to start their careers in SAP modules such as SAP MM, SD, ABAP, Basis, HCM, or any other functional/technical area. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn, and a basic understanding of business processes or programming concepts (depending on module).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, Commerce, or relevant field.
  • Basic understanding of SAP modules or completion of SAP-related coursework/certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of business processes (Finance, Sales, Procurement, HR, etc.) for functional roles.
  • Basic programming knowledge (Java, C, SQL, or OOP concepts) for technical roles like SAP ABAP.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and learn quickly.

Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in any module (not mandatory).
  • Internship or project experience in ERP/SAP.
  • Understanding of databases, Excel, or reporting tools.
